than just getting a discount price. If you select a cruise line
that has poor service, bad food or caters to a cruising clientele that is very
different than you are, you will not be happy no matter how good of a deal you
received. Make sure to study each cruise deal carefully before deciding.
For instance, if you have children,
Disney Cruise specials may sound ideal. Obviously, Disney
Vacations caters to families. However, you may find that other companies
such as
Carnival Cruise Lines
may give you the same level of family enjoyment at a much lower price. As you
know, they claim that they are "the fun ships". So maybe you should try
them out!
If you know other people that
have taken discount cruises, ask what they liked and didn't like about their
vacation, before you decide. If they are much older or younger than you, take
that into consideration. Obviously, a 70+ year old that doesn't like children
probably wouldn't be happy with the Disney ships no matter how much fun
she thinks she wants to have. Something more appropriate may be a sailing that
caters to a more formal crowd like Holland America, Norwegian Cruise
Lines (NCL) or RCCL.

could find. The Caribbean destinations are always popular and the

beat the romantic Hawaiian Cruises? If whale watching is your thing, try
